The child (Janet) suffers from anxiety. The story is based on the author's life as a child. For ages roughly 7 and under. The story focuses on two physical actions which Janet uses to help keep herself happy. One is through conscious breathing and the other is through laughter. The story introduces two birds who help Janet follow these actions. The first is Curry Currawong who constantly sings to Janet to take long deep breaths. The other is Kathy Kookaburra who is constantly making Janet laugh. The story progresses through a series of life events of a child growing up with anxiety and how she deals with it.
