About Inspired Shell Designs

I started Inspired Shell Designs because I've always loved shells. As a little girl I used to collect shells and decorate pots, etc with them. Once I realized that everything in this world is finite, I changed my thinking about taking shells from the beaches. They need to stay there for all to enjoy. I realised that by photographing a shell, I could use it over and over again and thus I started creating greeting cards with sayings about the shell(s). I love our oceans, beaches and nature. I feel truly alive when in the natural environment. I found that once I started creating, more ideas flowed and my photography started going further than shells, but I still love putting words to pictures. Since starting, I have written two children's books with a third one being published at the moment. Not just about shells anymore. I hope you enjoy and can find something that is just perfect for you, a family member or a friend. I am blessed to live in South East Queensland and I take pride in sourcing everything locally.
